Summary : An exceptionally gifted creator of magical items, able to easily forge the most powerful of items with his magical powers. These creators are both Divine or Arcane in nature and have been known to create the greatest items of legend. The Artificer is a master of the arts of magic and creation, able to craft from the most worn out metal a magical item of power. They wield these constructive energies with a masterful grace and their art is one that has been passed down through many years of creation. The Artificer is any spellcaster that wants to become a superior crafter. It fully focuses on the creation of items and reducing the time and cost of creation.

Suppress Dragonmark : Suppress the spell-like abilities of target's dragonmark. Unseen Crafter : Invisible force obeys your command and can use the Craft skill. Align Weapon : Weapon becomes good, evil, lawful, or chaotic. Chill Metal : Cold metal damages those who touch it. Heat Metal : Make metal so hot it damages those who touch it. Lesser Construct Essence : Grants a living construct qualities of the construct type.
Construct Energy Ward : As resist energy , except that the target must be a construct. Lucky Cape : Cape grants a single reroll of a saving throw. Spell Snare : Dragonshard absorbs a spell or spell-like ability of up to 3rd level. Adamantine Weapon : Transform weapon into adamantine. Lesser Humanoid Essence : Grants a construct the ability to accept healing magic.
Metamagic Item : Imbue spell trigger item with metamagic feat. Power Surge XP : Charged spell trigger item gains ternporary charges. Suppress Requirement M : Item that requires class feature, race, ability score, or alignment to function to its fullest potential no longer carries that requirement.
Greater Construct Energy Ward : As protection from energy , except that the target must be a construct. Lesser Globe of Invulnerability : Stops 1st- through 3rd-level spell effects. Minor Creation : Creates one cloth or wood object. Concurrent Infusions : Cast three 1st-level infusions simultaneously.
Humanoid Essence : Imposes upon a construct some of the weakness of the humanoid type. Item Alteration : Item that provides a certain type of bonus provides a different type of bonus to the same value or roll. Rusting Grasp : Your touch corrodes iron and alloys. Invoke Elemental : You temporarily release a bound elemental and compel it to obey you.
Major Creation : As minor creation , plus stone and metal. Wall of Stone : Creates a stone wall that can be shaped. Dominate Living Construct : As dominate person , but affecting a living construct. Wall of Force : Wall is immune to damage. Construct Essence : As lesser construct essence , but grants more qualities of the construct type.
Disrupting Weapon : Melee weapon destroys undead. Fabricate M : Transforms raw materials into finished items. Slaying Arrow : Creates a projectile deadly to a specific creature type. Globe of Invulnerability : As globe of invulnerability, lesser , plus 4th-level spell effects. Greater Spell Snare : Dragonshard absorbs a spell or spelllike ability of up to 6th level. Greater Humanoid Essence : Gives a construct the humanoid type. Hardening M : Permanently make an object's hardness improve.

Artificer (3.5e Prestige Class)

The artificer has magic running through his veins due to draconic heritage; much like the sorcerer the artificer is in a position of potentially great magic combined with extraordinary crafting abilities. Unlike the sorcerer, the artificer forsakes learning to use spells and instead learns to channel raw arcane magic through his veins into a permanent permeable form through magic items. With his enhanced skills he also receives a supernaturally high level of ability with all the skills that he pursues that deal with his crafting expertise; and can make mundane and magical items of varying qualities with ease.
